Technify.me is a joint collaboration of web and software veterans Scott Lewis and George Flanagin, both of whom are self-described technology curmudgeons. This blog is devoted to various technology and technology business topics that interest the author. Our goal is to provide no bullshit advice and opinions. Those comments notwithstanding, both authors are friendly and helpful chaps who welcome discussion and are always willing to lend a helping hand. We are also both available for hire for consulting and contract work. Feel free to post a comment or send an email. We will respond as soon as possible.
Scott Lewis
I started my career in graphic design and worked as an art director for 8 years. I stumbled into programming by accident but immediately fell in love. At the age of 30, I taught myself computer programming and gradually worked my way from design, to front-end web development, to back-end web development. I am equally comfortable working in design, front-end development (HTML, CSS & JavaScript) and back-end development (Java, PHP, MySQL and Oracle DB).
My design work has been printed in about a half dozen professional design publications including Corporate Identity USA and the Logo Lounge Master and Best of series.
I currently work as a Senior Enterprise Content Management consultant and specializes in large-scale implementations of the Oracle Universal Content Management Server (formerly Stellent).

I am currently an employee of the ICF Ironworks division of ICF International, Inc. Any views or opinions expressed on this blog are my own and do not, in any way, reflect those of my employer, its clients or its vendors.
